This plastic spout is sold as a replacement for use with our glass fountains (see below for specific fountains). Although this spout is intended as a replacement, it can also be used in other vessels with a hole between .25" (6 mm) and .5" (1.2 cm)..

Each spout is easily installed by unscrewing the plastic nut from the threaded end of the spigot and removing one of the rubber washers. The threaded end is then inserted through the fountain hole. The rubber washer is added back onto the spigot, then the plastic nut. The nut is tightened by hand until comfortably secure. There is no need to over tighten.

When turning off the water flow, there is no need to over tighten the spigot. Over tightening could result in stripping the spout.

We also sell metal spouts that can be used as replacements to this plastic spout. They are interchangeable with this spout.
